CCBA Member Benefits
- Adult members have voting rights for important CCBA issues.
- Members are entitled to at least one free training session per year.
- Members get free access to all CCBA events held in public locations such as libraries, schools, parks, etc. and can participate in running the event.
- Members are entitled to discounts on certain beekeeping related items whether from CCBA or from trusted companies associated with CCBA.
- Members are provided opportunities to give back their knowledge to the community are our regular events to promote beekeeping and the benefits of keeping bees.
- Members have unrestricted rights to tell or listen to short or tall stories about their beekeeping adventures.
- Members can learn from each other about different ways of keeping bees and keeping them healthy.
- Member can borrow expensive honey bee related equipment for short term use instead of buying it.
- Members can learn from CCBA mentors and may become mentors to novice beekeepers.
- Members can join other members to learn how to acquire free bees from bee extractions and swarm collections.
How To Join CCBA
Become a member of CCBA for a modest annual fee. Memberships are from 1-January until 31st December every year.
You can only join CCBA by attending one of our monthly meetings and contacting our membership manager. The annual fees are:
Single Member: $25
Family Membership: 2 Adults + up to 6 children : $40
Credit card payment for membership is preferred.
